Barnegat Bay, situated alongside parts of the New Jersey Pine Barrens, has an influx of freshwater that meanders through the sandy soil of the pines. Here, where the rivers and streams meet the ocean, is where our oysters are farmed. Our efforts of farming oysters, and Jetty Rock Foundation's oyster shell collection program contributes to oyster reefs around the Barnegat Bay, continuing to keep the Barnegat Bay clean and flourishing with oysters for generations to come.
